Hi, this is Darrell Gurney (the CareerGuy)
This will be DIFFERENT than other "strategy sessions" you may have had before.
Why?
A. You will not be talking to a salesperson. You will actually be speaking with me.
B. In this meeting, I will diagnose exactly what you need to do and bring all of my experience to bear on your career situation. I will ask you some powerful questions and provide guidance based on your answers. You will get thousands of dollars of value in this session. . .
Which is exactly why I need you to understand this
1. You are required to answer 10 quick questions when scheduling your session. Filling out an application will not guarantee that we speak. I only do a few sessions a week on specific mornings and afternoons and I only confirm a meeting with about 20% of applicants who I feel I can truly help.
I will reach out to you via EMAIL and TEXT MESSAGE to confirm if you are one of those applicants.
2. I usually only meet with executives and C-suite leaders who have already been spending time and money in making a career transition because they are more open to considering new ways. I occasionally make exceptions, depending on the application. . .
However, if you are brand new to executive career transition and think you can do it on your own through "networking" or spending endless money and hours on resumes and LinkedIn, PLEASE DO NOT SCHEDULE A MEETING AND TAKE UP A SLOT.
This is a very high-level session meant for senior executives and corporate leaders who want a tangible and even transformational outcome, and prefer a map and guide to get them there.
3. Finally. . .sure, life happens, but if you do not respond to my text and/or do not show up for our scheduled meeting, I'll move on. Please don't waste either of our time. First impressions often reveal a lot. If you cannot make time for this crucial career discussion, DO NOT SCHEDULE A SESSION.
