The Bi-Annual Executive PlayGame™ Mastermind Accountability Alliance
July through December, 2025
Why this?
Most executives are used to executive leadership teams or specific project groups within their organizations. But those teams and meetings are all about the company, its KPIs, projects and plans. Though a growth-oriented executive can practice leadership in those settings, the focus is on corporate goals, not on the particular career growth path and long-term objectives of the executive himself/herself.
It can be lonely at the top. Often in secret, an executive attempts to plan and design a future that may not include that particular company, that industry or even that same line of work. Where do they find a team to help them move in that new direction? And even if their desired future is in the same company or industry, there’s rarely support within an organization for an executive’s independent growth plans unless it toes the company line.
What does this make possible?
The Executive PlayGame™ Mastermind Accountability Alliance was designed to provide an idea laboratory, insightful sound boarding, accountability and team championing for each executive to build their own independent field of dreams wherever and in whatever that may be.
With the Musketeerian (One for all, All for one) backing of other senior-level executives, each one giving their all to the others and receiving all back from their teammates, each player envisions and moves specific personal goals into reality. Add in a curriculum designed to support playing BIG with one’s goals, accountability structures, personal buddy support and a private portal for daily connection and team engagement, and you have a vehicle for playing bigger than you ever have before to take you to what you’ve never accomplished before.
What is this based on?
In researching the concept of masterminds, you’ll find that the practice was first mentioned in business success literature in Napolean Hill’s Think and Grow Rich, Step 9: The Power of the Master Mind. CEOs and business owners have utilized this method of personal and professional expansion for nearly 100 years in this documented way, and it was obviously utilized by smart individuals even before Napolean Hill’s book brought it to light. He was simply reporting the ideas for success he learned from his patron, Andrew Carnegie.
Major CEO mastermind groups abound and provide a platform for CEOs to network, share experiences, and seek insights from peers. Some prominent examples include Entrepreneur's Organization (EO), Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), Vistage, and Mindvalley Business Masterminds.
But here’s the kicker: you don’t have to wait until you become the topmost leader but can use this tool and principle now to become the leader you want to be!
Why now?
As you move your way toward a greater experience of success – whether it be moving up to next levels of leadership and influence or simply learning how to play your leadership role the best possible way while maintaining a life of balance – if you want to tap into the realms of what you don’t know that you don’t know, The Executive PlayGame™ Mastermind Accountability Alliance is the way to play!

Comments from recent Executive PlayGame™ Mastermind Accountability Alliance players after only 3 months:
What were your expectations when coming into the Mastermind?
“Connect with other leaders to discuss future career and life opportunities. Identify steps to define a clear path forward. Gain insights about oneself and establish relationships beyond my current network. Be in the moment together.”
“I was not sure what to expect from the group. I suppose I had faith in Darrell and his ability to find like-minded people to connect with.”
“Having a group of like-minded individuals to be able to get options and share our experience, including games to play to spark new ideas.”
“I expected this mastermind to help create the structure, accountability, and external perspective I needed to clarify my goals and take bold action. I was also hoping to connect with others on a similar journey of transition and growth.”
What has been your experience of the Mastermind portion itself?
“The structure, pacing, and discussion are impactful and energizing. Every session leaves me with a clearer mindset and a sharper focus on my goals.”
“My experience has been profound. The group has offered their significant experience to me and been extremely helpful. The book recommendations and guidance I have gotten from the collective wisdom of the group has helped me as I transition into my new role [as CEO of my organization].”
"Sessions have been productive. Each week, we are sharing significant updates or progress. The environment supports discussing important topics that may be challenging to address elsewhere, possibly due to the leadership paradox or limited access to peers in similar positions."
“The experience has exceeded my expectations. The structure and process have been rock solid, but what really surprised me is the dynamic energy from the group. The bi-weekly calls, combined with team feedback and one-on-ones, helped me zoom out, reflect on past lessons, and re-engage with a vision for my next chapter. It’s pushed me to slow down, do the inner work I’d been avoiding, and recommit to smarter, bolder goals.”
“The combination of external accountability, deep peer relationships, and big-picture thinking keeps me focused and energized. It helps me avoid falling into day-to-day tunnel vision and reminds me that I’m not building alone. This kind of community is rare and powerful.”
“This has been one of the most impactful professional development experiences I’ve had. I’m finally shifting from survival mode back into strategic building.”
What has been your experience of the buddy support system?
“Each one-on-one interaction with buddies has been excellent.”
“It took a second to get moving on them but now they are a welcome step back from my busy day. The meeting that I always keep.”
“Collaborating with a colleague has made it easier to get things done and sort out any issues and strategies that might come up. While the main goal of pairing up was accountability, talking over problems and methods turned out to be just as important. Being each other's advisors was really helpful.”
“Incredibly valuable. The check-ins didn’t just support accountability—they created space for strategic brainstorming, perspective-shifting, and candid feedback. I’ve gotten as much value from these peer conversations as I have from the formal sessions.”
What has been your experience of one-on-one sessions with Darrell?
“Extremely valuable for gaining clarity, adjusting direction, and reinforcing commitments.”
“The times I’ve been able to schedule with Darrell during the play game have been helpful as things have changed around me. Darrell has provided me with significant guidance on my transition and what to look out for in negotiation around my new role [as CEO of my organization].”
What results have you accomplished?
“Ultimately, I’ve shifted my big goal and used the sessions to focus on enhancing how I work in my current job. This helped me decide to hold a multi-region hackathon while in India which helped spark 20+ ideas for improvement and cross-functional teams that are already taking the first steps to solve the problems themselves. I’ll use this as a series of LinkedIn articles to help get my name out there more in the industry.”
“I started the mastermind playing one game around building an AI tool that I intended to be the basis of a new company. Instead, I was asked to take over as CEO and put my AI skills to work transforming my current company. I believe that the focus and preparation from playing the big game made it possible for me to answer the call and take up the role being given to me. Certainly, the support of the group has helped me make sure the moment is not too big for me. The team’s guidance and help have been invaluable to me as I face new challenges in my new role.”
“One major breakthrough was realizing I had been playing it safe due to past business failures. Through group feedback, I reframed that fear and started taking real action again. I’ve since launched new business models, reshaped my income strategy, and had more strategic meetings in the past month than in the three prior. This group has reignited my entrepreneurial spirit and strategic thinking.”
